Jessica Gold, Ph.D. is a relationship chemist who helps high-achieving men and power couples build relationships as extraordinary as their careers.
Her path began in West Texas, raised in a world of intellectual rigor and emotional restraint. She studied at MIT, earned her PhD from UC Berkeley's #1-ranked chemistry program, and completed a postdoc in neuroscience at UCSF. For years, she excelled as a scientist. What she lacked was the emotional development to match — and that gap cost her her marriage and changed the course of her life.
What followed was a decade-plus of study: four years of deep contemplative practice alongside seven certifications including Gottman methodology and Relational Life Therapy. Along the way, she noticed something she couldn't unsee — chemistry and systems theory described what she was watching in couples. A marriage is a dynamic system, and the patterns that describe how molecules bond also describe couples.
Her Bliss Science method translates relational growth into language analytical minds can use. She has worked with hundreds of post-exit founders, STEM leaders, and high-net-worth couples — men whose wives stopped reaching for them years ago and now find them irresistible again. She gave a TEDx talk on "Chemistry for Your Sex-Starved Marriage," has been featured in The Guardian and Good Men Project, and co-founded AI company Digital Wisdom.
She lives in the Bay Area with the love of her life, an unruly teenager, and a dog with better emotional regulation than most humans.
